Kentucky: THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT.

Massachusetts: Certifications from non-governmental bodies are not regulated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Mississippi: Free background information is available upon request.

Missouri: Neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor the Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations.

Nevada: The State Bar of Nevada does not certify any legal professional as a specialist.

New Jersey: Certifications that are not granted by the NJ Supreme Court or ABA-approved organizations have not been reviewed.

New Mexico: Certification by any organization other than the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization does not indicate Board recognition.

New York: Prior case results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Rhode Island: The Rhode Island Supreme Court does not certify any legal professional as an expert in any field.

Tennessee: Legal professionals are not certified as specialists unless stated otherwise by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education.

Texas: Unless stated otherwise, Texas legal professionals are not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Washington: The Supreme Court of Washington does not recognize certification of specialties in the practice of law.

Wyoming: The Wyoming State Bar does not certify any legal professional as a specialist or expert.

Changes to These Terms
